For as long as the British Prime Minister has lived at 10 Downing Street, so have the mice. For many years they co-existed in peace, with only the kitchen staff knowing of their existence, leaving them tasty morsels to secret away into their homes in the walls. It was a wonderful, peaceful time.
Then the rats arrived.
A gang of cockney rats started muscling their way into the house and causing trouble for mice and humans alike. The rest of the staff discovered this rodent problem and sought to end it once and for all. Thus, a new member was added to the Prime Minister’s staff - a cat, with the grand title of Chief Mouser.
For many years, Larry, the Chief Mouser, has been happily employed and lives a pampered life with the humans. While he certainly does do his best to rid the house of rats, he holds a secret alliance with the mice - if they agree not to cause trouble then he will leave them alone. He employs a retinue of mice who serve him faithfully, mostly out of fear that the unbalanced alliance could end in disaster for them at any moment.
Some things you'll find inside this campaign set in the real-world house of the British Prime Minister include a trap dungeon, a floor tile puzzle, a Home Alone-style quest where you get to set the traps, political intrigue and treachery, a stealth-based quest, sneaky opponents, and mysterious artefacts.
