This is a list of 100 genuine texts that have been published on alchemy that could be found on a bookshelf. The texts cover different types of alchemical topics, such as spiritual alchemy and the philosopher's stone, medicinal and herbal alchemy and practical alchemy, which evolved into chemistry, including books on the border between alchemy and chemistry.

The books are ordered by the year of publication, and the book's name and publication year are given, as well as some extras, such as author, language, topic and translations, where available. These books could be found in the possession of anyone from medieval alchemists to modern occultists.
