Publisher's blurb:
Port Cities and towns have a certain mystic in the world of Fantasy where tall ships weigh anchor and sailors come about to test their land legs once again. And with that notion of going from one element to another, we often see the laws of order and nature strained. Whether this is a crooked captain looking to unload some con-traband at a black market, or a monster searching for an easy snack, the docks, the edge of land and the constant waves makes for a strange and chaotic environment. And it seems like a shame not to take the utmost advantage of that situation in a fantasy game where the coast line represents mystery and opportunity for all with the strength to explore it.
This list is intended for any fantasy setting where monster and crime are plentiful and bold in a hostile world. This list can be applied to a small town, a city state, a coastal ruin, or a fortified docking station. We recommend that the Game Masters apply 1 to 3 rolls on this table (if they are in a larger area, then this number can easily double). This roleplaying tool gives you dozens of different ways to add a new dimension of personality and difficulty to the area being explored.
