A hobby, or something done regularly for please, is something that almost all characters and NPCs have. Having one helps to round out a character, makes them seem more “real”, even the most evil of villains’ may like to admire their classic car collection after a hard days oppressing the locals.
Presented are 100 possible hobbies, mainly for those characters in a modern setting, but could also be used with a little bit of work in a fantasy, sci-fi or other genre. Of course there are many, many more possible hobbies, but these should help get you started.
