100 Light Sources to Find in a Dungeon

Description

Publisher's Blurb

Fantasy settings often have dungeons and sometimes these dungeons also have sources of light. Not every dungeon may be uniformly well lit, and light sources are also unlikely to be uniform, but there are many forms of light that can be found, even if the amount of light they shed is quite low.

Here are 100 different light sources that can be used to flesh out the description of a dungeon. Most of these lights are not inherently valuable - such are better being considered as part of potential treasure - but there are many different types, from natural light to ordinary light sources to the more weird or even magical in nature. Some sources are potentially dangerous, especially for the careless.

Here is a sample result:

Skulls - Polished skulls with a flickering candle inside. Curved polished steel mirrors inside the skulls at the back of them help focus and shine the light out through the eyes, nose and mouth.
