During a zombie apocalypse, the characters may get hold of a radio. This supplement has 100 different messages that they could hear over such. Some are cryptic, some provide supposedly useful information, which may be misinformation, and some make no sense at all. They can be used as filler, in between more important communiques, as a source of general colour or perhaps as adventure hooks. Some of the messages are accompanied by descriptions of what could be heard in the background; the rest are assumed to be broadcast with perhaps nothing more than some static or interference.
This PDF supports Adobe layers and the page backgrounds and images can be disabled to make printing easier.
Here are some sample results:
“The roads out of the city are all blocked with abandoned cars and lorries. People tried fleeing in their vehicles, but there were too many and they couldn’t get out in time. Then the infected came and slaughtered them. There’s good loot to be found now, in the vehicles, but be careful for some still have their former owners in them, not as dead as you’d like.”
“The streets are oddly deserted around here. I haven’t seen anyone, or anything, moving in hours know. Where has everyone gone?”
“They’re going to blow the dam above town tonight. Supposedly to stop the spread of the infection, but it will flatten both living and infected alike. Get out now whilst you still can!”
“They’re in the final phases of setting the demolition charges as we speak. The last people are moving off the bridge and it looks like they are getting ready to blow it.” The last part is nearly drowned out by a series of explosions.
“They’re starting to get pretty ripe and the smell is getting overpowering. Flies are being attracted too, and I’m getting worried about that. What if the flies can spread the infection?”
