This is an reduced map used for the 1822: Railways of Great Britain game, which is part of the 18xx series based on the growth of the Railways through the age of steam. It is the northern part of the 1822 map, that is Birmingham and northwards, with Wales and London as off board locatons.
Players take the part of investors in Railway companies and then operate the companies to maximise their own wealth.
The basic rules of 1822 is used with just some small changes. The setup is different, removing some privates, minors, majors and tiles, which results in a slightly shorter game.
Privates used in 1822NRS: P1-P21, except P5, P10, P17
Minors used in 1822NRS: 1-10, 15, 16, 26-29
Majors removed from 1822NRS: GWR, LBSCR, SECR, and SWR
