A Boy and His Blob Retro Collection is a compilation developed by Limited Run Games using their proprietary Carbon Engine and published by Ziggurat Interactive and Limited Run Games on October 17th 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4/5 and on December 1st 2023 for Windows PCs.

This release comprises 2 cult classic games; 1989's A Boy and His Blob: Trouble in Blobolonia and 1991's A Boy and His Blob in The Rescue of Princess Blobette originally released on the NES and GameBoy respectively. Not just a mere port, the collection features both the North American and Japanese versions of both titles along with save states, a music player, and customizable borders and visual filters.
