Play as one of four ancient Witch Houses, represented by their unique and powerful Sigils (card suits).
Save members of your House (cards of your own suit) by winning tricks with the highest card, or play the lowest card to trigger that card’s suit specific power and help turn the tides in your favor. Make deals to avoid the brunt of a House’s Attack, grow your power, and ensure the Calamity doesn’t consume you all.
Every Witch House must save a certain number of members of their House by the time the cards run out, otherwise the Calamity takes root in the losing houses, and complete corruption becomes inevitable. AKA everyone loses. If every House survives, then the House with the highest number of cards collected of their own Suit wins.
Try a prototype version now, just use 4 dice for the shields, and 4 hand written suit symbols. It's easiest if you match the suits like so: Swords = Clubs, Shields = Spades, Spells = Diamonds, Blood = Hearts
