Description

December 1944. World War II rages on as the American 101st Airborne dig themselves in to defend Jack's Wood near the Belgian village of Foy. They must repel any German advance until support arrives from their armoured divisions who have been delayed by bad weather. Also located nearby is a small medical camp where a squad of Australian engineers formulates a foolhardy plan. Can they execute their mission successfully, or will it all GO SOUTH!?

This book contains an interactive short story where the reader makes the decisions for the main character. It is written in straightforward prose for older teens and adults who struggle with reading and places the reader straight into the action where their choices determine who lives and who dies. This volume is designed to be as portable as possible; an alternative to having a phone stuck to your face while travelling or sitting quietly at home. It doesn't require any dice, pencils or erasers to play; you only need the book.
