From publisher blurb:
Out of the A Dozen . . . series of PDFs, it is difficult to point to any one subline as “the most fun to create!” That said, I would select the various rumors PDFs as my personal favorites to write if my back were ever against the wall.
What I enjoy most about the rumors’ titles is the joy that comes from creating new scraps of information for every entry. These loose concepts – with just enough of a hook for the GM to latch onto – are effectively micro-adventure seeds. Many of them exist for a single reason: to give the gamemaster a starting point when the “What’s next?” question is asked.
As always, the twelve entries within the pages of this PDF are presented as systemless works for use with any fantasy roleplaying game. A gamemaster needs to add only one thing to each of these ideas to make them valuable to the campaign: imagination. After that, everything – from the type of dice that you use to the number of statistics that a player character possesses – comes second.
It is my hope that you will take each one of these rumors and transform them dramatically, turning them into encounters and adventures that you will use to entertain the players in your campaign.
