Learn the mysteries of Shangri-La and comtemplate the true meaning of neutrality This adventure combines elements of classic 1930's literature with a Dungeons and Dragons setting to provide a short adventure that combines elements intrigue, exploration, and moral questions into an adventure aboard an airship.
The game begins in the town of Kulbas, which has fallen to an invading force of orcs and tieflings. Characters board the last airship out of the city while fending off the raiding party. However, the airship is diverted into the mountains to the mystical lamasery of Shangri-La. Characters must investigate and figure out a way to escape the idyllic but insular colony.
This module is an adventure for characters from levels 3 to 5 and lasts approximately four to eight hours. It can be used as a standalone adventure or part of a larger campaign.
