This continuation of the Waking Tomb adventure expands the Southlands setting with higher-level danger and even richer treasures! Having entered the pyramid to determine the fate of a missing expedition in part 1, the heroes discovered a larger threat in the shrike plague.

This adventure assumes that the characters have already successfully navigated the first level of the pyramid and have located Mehmet, one of the employees of Golden Falcon Antiquities. The characters must venture farther into the pyramid, determine the fate of the other three employees who are believed to be on the second floor, put a stop to the Doomspeakers, and exterminate all the shrikes in the tomb before they become a bigger problem.

Now they must learn the origin of the shrike plague and convince Kanakht, now a powerful but tormented undead, to assist them in ending the shrike threat for good.
