Mutio Vitelleschi, the Jesuit General, has discovered a terrible secret: in many countries, the order is on the verge of being banned. In response, he summons several of his most loyal followers to Rome and sends them on secret missions. Their task is to establish new missions worldwide, ensuring the survival of the Jesuit community.
However, since all these secret missions serve the same goal, the protagonists often end up working against each other when they would be better off cooperating. Challenges abound—pirates, various temptations, seemingly impossible tasks, and unexpected obstacles all stand in the way of completing their mission.
It takes time for them to realize that their mission can only be fully accomplished if, at the right moment, they put aside their differences and support each other.
