A Pirate’s Life is the story of seven heroes and their struggle to free their kingdom from the grip of the evil King Martin Juliaq.
The Kingdom of Bareng is situated on the south coast of the Sea of Fallen Stars, on the northern tip of Turmish in the land of Faerun. Separated from the rest of Turmish by the Orsraun Mountains, it is pretty much free to govern itself. Bareng has been a strong naval power for the last forty years, since the beginning the reign of King Marcus Juliaq’s (father of the current king, Martin). It does a great deal of trade with Cormyr, Sembia, and the smaller kingdoms to the north in the Damara region.
