A beautiful ocean world with several small archipelagos, the blue globe of Benthys sat for many thousands of years on its own, barren of mortal life, until a great comet descended from the heavens, crushing the barren islands of Gajrakyr and causing a massive hurricane to wrack the world. Golden-silver rain fell from the skies, and from the lakes and rivers it formed, mortal life grew. For centuries, this hurricane hung over the ruins of the island, until denizens from a mysterious city called Abysara began to visit the different island nations and extend invitations to come and see this great place.

The ocean is a wild place, and we know so little about our own. Yet for centuries, the waters - fictitious or factual - have been the center-point of so many different pieces of inspirational media. Starting as a concept when I was chatting with my sister - who is working towards her double major in anthropology and marine biology - about Atlantis, and how many different versions of it have existed. So, then I thought, why not design our own? Abysara brings together an awesome team in Anna, Annie, and Molly with Sapphy doing art. to create a visually and mechanically unique microsetting for players wanting to go aquatic. In here, you will have everything you need to build from as you explore the ancient city of Abysara, growing from the arm of a long dead titan...
