From the introduction:

[This game] is an analogue LARP in which you take roles of the participants in a contest held by the kyrios (ΚΥΡΙΟΣ, ruler) of one, rather hypothetical, polis in ancient Greece. You won't need any deep knowledge of history - the game, as you will see for yourselves, does not try to realistically recreate the corresponding moment in history. But this is not a "mythical Greece fantasy" either. This is a metaphor. After all, the very words "metaphor" (μεταφορά), "utopia" (ουτοπία) and "democracy" (δημοκρατία) have their origin an ancient Greece.
