From publisher blurb:

AESYR AT A GLANCE

Aesyr is a wild genre-mash world, combining elements from apocalypse, fantasy, science fiction, western, and survival stories. Aesyr as a world is that it is one of ancient ruins, lost technology, and struggling borders. There are four core facets of Aesyr that one should keep in mind when playing:

1. The scars of the trolls still remain. The Xukzun Imperium ruled for millennia before mortalkind was able to ascend, and they have only been gone for a couple hundred years. There are gods STILL ALIVE from when they cast out the trolls. Their ruins still stand, their experiments still roam the world.
2. Aesyr is MASSIVE. Aesyr is a huge world: six thousand miles long and four thousand miles wide. It takes a LONG time to get anywhere, and the landscape is just as much a player and a character as the other wanderers are.
3. Troll tech is free and for the taking. It doesn't take long to dig or look around and find some aspect of troll technology laying around or buried beneath the surface. Whether it is from a deep vault, or found while tilling soil, it is there. Some might attempt to build new weapons or armor to give themselves an edge over others, while others might try to salvage it for its materials and barter for supplies. Regardless, whoever can control the tech controls the power.
4. This ain't your grandpappy's world. There is no homogeneous people or order here. Take your RPG stereotypes and toss them out the window. Aesyr was designed SPECIFICALLY to offer something different and new can you be a massive brawny boi who is as silent as the wind? Yup. Can you wield over-large trulgtech weaponry even if you are only three feet tall? Yup. Are those ridable groundhogs and armadillos? Yup.
