Ævintýralandið

From the publisher: Ævintýralandið is a story driven boardgame for children 3-12 years old and their parents. Besides providing a framework for children and parents to have a nice time with stories and fun, it helps children to express themselves, find out how others think, and harness their creative thinking to solve problems. It's not less important for parents to play Ævintýralandið with their children, it is healthy for everyone to see their imagination in action and the children's honesty. One player is the game master. He's the storyteller in an adventure but other players create and play the characters. Stories are drawn randomly and to each story is added some extra element, like animals, exciting people and all kinds of objects, some of which might even have supernatural powers. The characters act along and take their part in shaping the adventure together with the storyteller. At the end of the story each character gets it's reward which can be used to improve the character before he takes part in the next adventure.
