I am excited to release the seventh book in my OSR Series of adventures, “AGAINST THE UNHOLY: TOWER INVERSO”. This adventure finds your players battling for their lives, as they begin the scenario trapped deep below ground, in the bowels of an ancient mage’s tower. This particular mage hired skilled deep dwarven engineers to build his tower down toward the Under-Realm, instead of up. Having been magically transported to the lowest level of this dungeon, your players must climb up, all the while battling the traps and horrors the cruel Chaotic mage left behind, to reach the surface and earn their freedom!
This module is very versatile and has been written to offer Game Masters a number of play options. This scenario may be played as a stand-alone one-shot; as the second part of the Against the Unholy duology, which began in SOSR6 Demesne of the Dark Sisterhood; or as the conclusion of the epic five-part STAMUS CONTRA MALUM ("We Stand Against Evil") campaign. It is a very challenging scenario, intended for 4 to 6 veteran players with characters of levels 6 to 8.
Synopsis: Transported by a potent magical trap, you find yourself deep below ground, in the stygian depths of the infamous Tower Inverso. Your only hope is to fight your way to the surface, and freedom. However, to accomplish this goal you must overcome baleful traps; and dragons, demons, and deadly foes of all sizes, shapes and manner, intent on your death … or worse!
