From publisher blurb:

AGARTHA AT A GLANCE

Agartha comes from two-fold origins: one within ancient Judeo-Christian legends, and second from a long-failed Kickstarter a few years back. Both myself an myself and Chrys were part of that project, and felt particularly attached to the world and designs and content we had spent a long time building, and when we got the chance to inherit the project from the original designer, we jumped at the chance. Agartha sits within the DayLITE: Sci-Fi universe, but could also easily be utilized at a DayLITE: Fantasy table, or potentially a midpoint. Have your wanderers start off within one of the levels, assuming it is a fantasy world, and then meet someone from...Beyond... Dun dun DUUUUUHHHHH!!!!! Anywhose, there are three core things to keep in mind when developing a campaign within Agartha.
1. The Synarch are ALWAYS watching. Whether it is Dagon's small dagling minions hiding in alleyways, or the ominous Lir gargoyles sitting atop high buildings, the Synarch are aware of all. Their eyes are everywhere, and as soon as someone becomes a threat to the experiment, they are removed. However, no one is any the wiser, with those who are, disappeared in the middle of the night.
2. No one knows what is Beyond. No one realizes that the massive landscapes they live in are all part of a great experiment, built around the corpse of a cosmic dragon within a huge metal sphere. This is kept from them at all costs, with the Synarch having controlled the narrative of "How" and "What" existence is. Travel between the levels is permitted, but uncommon, and often done with very heavy security.
3. Things are starting to break. The experiment has lasted millennia, but, more and more often, interlopers are discovering the experiment, their nav computers thrown off by the powerful energy signature of the Great Sphere, their ships crashing into it and setting quivers through t the levels. With rebels like the Boar wreaking havoc in Mundus, and other small insurgent cells popping up, the illusion is beginning to crack.

Discover the Truth of the Great Experiment!
For eons, the great cosmic dragon Agartha swam through the stars, helping bring life to young worlds, coaxing their awakening into true homeworlds with its impressive control of the Zurn, the lifeforce of the universe. There were some in the galaxy who longed for this power, and as Agartha began to reach the end of its life, these four struck. Their names were Vehtrun, Goruf, Gogmagog, and Dagon; four greedy Great Beings who had struggled for eons to gain followings and draw power as Agartha had. With their combined force, they pushed the weakened cosmic dragon into a corner of the galaxy where few dwelt, and pushed it into a deep comatic sleep, so near death that any waking of it would spell doom for the creature. Its power did not disappear, but seemed to begin to grow and rebuild as it slumbered. Around it, the four beings erected a great crystalline pillar, a generator of immense galactic might, and they thus began their experiment.
