A tower defense game, you have a lot of flexibility in upgrading your base, and offensive capabilities. Three levels of weapon, include: hurling, bow/arrow, and handgun. There are special abilities to upgrade, as well as mass effect weapons, among others. Your weapons and enemies also go from stone age, to medieval fantasy, to modern military, to futuristic sci/fi.
