The Rulebook and Player's Guide introduces players to all the rules they need to play the game, introduces the setting (the Kingdom of Drachmar), and provides practical guidance to construct and safely use boffer weapons.
This rulebook was freely provided to players during events, with printing costs partially covered by advertisements interspersed throughout the book.
The 1999 printed book was updated and replaced by the version 2006.1 ruleset and world information at the Age of Valor website at http://ageofvalor.com.
