Lissen up - Now, there's a ball of rock that rejoices in the name of Farley's World. It got partly terraformed back in the day; but down in the valleys and lowlands, the atmosphere is still a poisonous toxic soup. A few months ago, an Alliance survey team discovered considerable mineral resources on Farley's World. However, the ore veins are beneath the settled land, and therefore legally belong to the settlers. Most of the others have accepted the Alliance's offer, but one family - the Howards - are refusing to abandon their land. That's where the crew come in.
