In Al'Taire The object of the game is to be the first
player to reach 6 Ascension Points on
your turn, which ends the game with a
successful claim to the throne.
Ascension Points are gained through
Alchemy Cards, Fate Cards, and even
through some Reagent Cards.

2 to 4 players
How long does a game generally last?
Depending how menacing and cutthroat players are it can range from 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.
What is included in the game?
The game box, instruction manual, 50 Alchemy cards and 50 Reagent cards.
How do I play?
In Al'Taire players need reagent cards to put alchemy cards into play. Some alchemy cards grant you alchemy points, additional cards, etc, or they can destroy your opponent(s) through causing of discarded cards, loss of alchemy points to even switching hands entirely.
Al'Taire uses the "one person's trash is another person's treasure." mechanic. If a player pitches a discard that you need you may draw from the top of the discard pile.
