Alfreds Other Game

This game's name is a play off the fact that the designer, Alfred M. Butts, is also the designer of Scrabble. Up to four players conduct a solitaire-like contest simultaneously, trying to achieve maximum scores. Words of all one color double your points, certain letters have premium values, and if you use all the letters in one play you get a bonus. Has both a basic and a more challenging “duplicate” mode of play.
