Alkisah (Eng: Once upon a time) is a game of connect the dots that could be played by 3-6 players. At each turn, a player makes a word beginning with the letter that are printed on Letter cards taken and continued the story to be answered by the next player. The game continues until one The End card open then the next player opens a new Character card. Each game consists of 3 Character cards and 3 The End cards. The game ended after all 3 The End cards opened. For each Letter card successfully taken player gets 1 point. There is a bonus round where each player puts together a word from the successfully-taken Letter cards to add points.
Alkisah does not include the hourglass in the sales package, but the player may use the hourglass that lasts approximately 1-2 minutes to limit the time each player in finding the right words. If a player is not be able to do so, then at the end of the game, minus 1 point for each letter card that is missed.
There are some Effect cards mixing together to add more joy and fun of the game.
