From the introduction:
A patrol of the Fetid Fens a few months back revealed an ancient Flan village that was tainted by a cult of Kyuss ages ago. To ensure the evil was vanquished, the local baron, Theoder Cullen, ordered regular patrols of the area. The latest patrol never returned from the fens. A group of heroes sent by the baron to investigate the disappearance are also missing. Will you investigate the fens and bring back any survivors?
