Alphabetizing

Game ID: GID0021956
Collection Status
Description

Players attempt to fill columns with words in alphabetical order from top to bottom. Players first start by lacing five randomly chosen words, face down, to place onto the board in the red center positions. These words may never be moved, and determine what words can go above and below them on the board.

For example, if a red word is “Freeze”, all words placed above must come before freeze alphabetically. All words below it must come after alphabetically.

After these words are placed, players take turns picking from face down cards that contain other words, and place them in such a way that they can successfully fill a column. There are also blank cards which act as wild cards and 10 point bonus cards which just give a player a point bonus.

If a player completes a column, they get bonus points. Any player who draws a word that cannot go on the board loses points. Each player may also once per game move a blue space word to make room for s word they have drawn. Player with the most points when the game is over is the winner.
