The alsedrae were the first beings to be recorded to hail from the Elemental Sphere, originally thought to have come from the chloryfolk homeworld of Gaia. However, the unique symbiotic armors and abilities of the alsedrae proved to be pure products of unaltered elemental arkwaves. The alsedrae are tall and willowy, yet their living botanical armor makes them seem much larger than they are. No one symbiote is alike, with the creatures changing and growing based on their wearer, but all have the same origin: born from the roots of the Plane Tree, Aman'Dara, which grows through the center of the entire Elemental Sphere, acting as its core. Today, the alsedrae are closely connected to the Gardener's Union, as well as working to attempt to mitigate the adverse affects the Asha Trading Co. has been having on the Ghaistalan environment.
