Working heists for the Golden Vault is usually reserved for daring teams of thieves, infiltrators, and muscle. The problem with working with a team is that sooner or later you won’t know who to trust. When a small, discrete job needs to be done, sometimes a small team is all that is needed. Enter the Solo Operator.
An Infernal Bakery is a solo adventure that can be added to any solo D&D campaign, but is designed in the style of Keys from the Golden Vault and is best played with one player and one dungeon master.
When an agent of the Golden Vault innocently contracts a new baker for an important event, her established rival will have none of it. When he hires thugs to rough her up, the Golden Vault decides to have the PC teach him a lesson.
