From publisher blurb:
A representative of the Yamagura Corporation offers a substantial sum to transport some unmarked crates to a newly discovered world. This new world is called Casurlar and it is in the Sonora Sector of space. Little is known about the people living there except that they are fairly low tech and they tend to imitate other cultures that they encounter.
But there is more to this world than the patron is willing to disclose. The inhabitants of this world have been watching gangster films and have now adopted a culture similar to the underworld of the 1920s on earth.
