Roll and Write Revolution returns with an asymmetric 1-2 player polyomino placing roll and write game. Players are seeking to either help a supposed Anastasia flee from the country or trap her for questioning. The players take up the sides of the White (Loyalist) and Red (Bolshevik) Armies. The supposed Anastasia though moves on her own with the help of cards which guide the movement each turn.
Players draft from a decreasing pool of dice to place their polyomino shapes to the map and may also play cards to influence the movement cards or the dice.
Players will fine challenge in this game as it plays in certain ways like a cat and mouse game with each side attempting to direct the mouse to a goal while avoiding the traps.
