Empire of the Skies is the twelfth Anno 1800 DLC and was released on September 20, 2022. It is the second DLC of the Season 4 Pass. Its main addition are rigid airships that can be used in combat or to transport cargo quickly. Airship Platform and its modules offers a fast item transfer, and enables workforce sharing in New World. A new postal system involves using airships in order to transport mail between islands and regions, connecting the population across the world. The DLC also adds airship platform ornaments and a scenario A Clash of Couriers, about Paloma Valente and her participation in the Grand Postal Derby - a competition that requires establishing an efficient mail delivery network.
