El Infierno ha caído sobre la Tierra y yo vivo en él.
Con la última campanada que anunció el año de Nuestro Señor de 1000, las hordas del Maligno invadieron el mundo y, en siete días, conquistaron, capturaron y arrasaron. Dos siglos y medio después, la humanidad permanece cautiva en las ciudades de la Tierra demoníaca, donde los demonios torturan, vejan y tientan para corromper almas.
Pero, ocultas en los bosques y en las montañas, pequeñas comunidades de humanos libres sobreviven esperando el Día del Juicio Final, el día en el que el Mesías volverá a la Tierra a reclamar a los suyos. Hasta entonces, los Justos de las tres religiones del Libro, aquellos a los que Dios ha dotado de fabulosas facultades, se enfrentan al Maligno, sus huestes y servidores, para proteger a aquellos que aman y cumplir los designios del Altísimo.
Un mundo de oscuridad, criaturas de pesadilla, grandiosos actos de fe, épicas proezas del espíritu humano. En todo esto os sumergiréis en este incierto camino que habéis decidido recorrer.
Mi consejo es el siguiente:
Comportaos como hombres justos.
Vivid como hombres libres.
Luchad con decisión cuando debáis hacerlo.
Vuestra alma es en realidad vuestra única y más preciada posesión, lo único que merece la pena en este mundo de oscuridad. Él la dejó a vuestro cuidado; custodiadla con honor y fe, mantenedla pura. Permaneced atentos: hoy, como jamás nunca fue, el Mal acecha...
