Anthony’s Armory of Arcana is a response to fact that the majority of magic weapons in D&D 5th edition are swords of various kinds. Other weapon types, such as axes, maces, hammers, and war mauls have significantly less magical versions and/or are not as powerful as their sword counterparts. Some weapons are not even represented at all, such as Halberds and Flails.
