Hemorrhagic
Some of the deadliest viruses in the world, such as Ebola or Cholera, kill their hosts extremely fast and have almost a 100% mortality rate. However, because these virus go through their
hosts so quickly, this also means the human hosts can’t spread the virus far enough, or into enough uninfected individuals to create a large-scale outbreak. This new ‘Hemorrhagic’ type zombie represents a mutation of one of those extremely deadly viruses into a sustainable outbreak that not only kills with grim efficiency, but is potent enough to carry from host to host fast enough that only the most prepared of survivors will be able to withstand the onslaught. Zombies of this type will
have open lesions and bloody sores all over the body as visual cues to their nature, and Survivors will learn to be wary, as they can contract the virus from these wounds as readily as from bites.
