The Arcana Domain, introduced in the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide, is a cleric domain in 5th edition D&D which focuses on wizardly might and knowledge over other, more pious pursuits. Their domain is magic itself, and they draw power from the gods of knowledge and magic to burn their enemies and to push the boundaries of arcane knowledge.
While the Arcana Domain is a fun idea, it is rarely played, and has joined the Battlerager and Purple Dragon Knight in the small pile of obscure, low-powered classes found in the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide that have been neither reprinted, alongside the likes of the Storm Sorcerer and Sun Soul Monk, or revamped, like the noble Bladesinger.
With that in mind, here is one version of what a revamped Arcana Cleric might be like, released to coincide with Strixhaven: Curriculum of Chaos. This is largely a new subclass based on the officially published version, and for all of the flavor and lore surrounding the Arcana Domain, one should still look up the original version of this class found in the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide.
