Arlequin

Game ID: GID0029017
Collection Status
Description

Arlequin is a chess variant played on an 8x8 board colored in a pattern of red, yellow and blue squares. Pieces (except for the king) are translucent tiles of yellow and blue plastic, with different colored markings on them showing parts of chess pieces. When the piece moves to a different colored square, different markings blend into the background color and a different piece type becomes visible.

The object, as in chess, is to checkmate the opposing king.
