The origin of this book comes from a quick conversation in passing at a booth at GenCon 2023 where I was helping table when Andrew stopped by with his portfolio. I was immediately floored by the art I saw, especially because Andrew’s style reminded me so much of old pulp novels and comics, but also some of the old illustrated history books I used to read as a kid. I instantly gave him my card, and now, almost a year later, folks are going to be able to see the collaboration that we built off of that meeting.
There is very little mechanical offering in here - perhaps some clarification that folks have asked for in regards to gear in the DayLITE: Fantasy system - mostly focusing on offering Wanderers and Alders a chance to take a look at example weapons and armors from across the various peoples of the Fantasy universe, understand the reasoning behind the breakdown of different weapon and armor categories, discussions about mounted combat and mounts, and to showcase Andrew’s amazing art.
