Myconids are essential and awe-inspiring beings that are part of the circle of life. They deal in the business of death and decay and occur in a myriad of different forms. Not only are there many lifeforms in the fungi family, but these beings also cause a wide variety of effects on other creatures as well.
Unfortunately, many players rarely get to witness such a wide array of mystical powers and such from the myconids, or even encounter them. Myconids usually keep to dark and cool places. These locales could be lowland forest, canyon bottoms, glowing caverns, or a damp cellar in town.
Fungi are also well known for their abiilty to spread, symbiotically work with other species to acquire food, cut down on dead biomass, and are even the center of certain religious movements and philosophies.
The spore druid taps into a bit of this information and lore, but not much. I wanted to create a subclass that truly gives you the ability to manifests so many different qualities.
Myconid mad scientists have fused various fungal species into their body and have gained a variety of abilities due to this selfexperimentation.
With this build, you will be able to break your enemies down with debuff upon debuff. Additionally, you can boost your own abilities along with that of your allies. Lastly, like a fungi, you will thrive and feed off of all these effects.
Don't be afraid of death, for you are like Charon, the ferryman of the river Styx, carrying beings to their next step in the eternal cycle of death.
