Ascension: Dawn of Champions is the eight game in the series released for iOS. It is both a standalone game and an expansion that can be combined with any or all of the Ascension games.
Ascension: Dawn of Champions introduces three new mechanism:
- New Champion Card: Now each player begins the game with a randomly selected champion. Each champion has different powers that affect gameplay.
- Rally: This mechanism allows to defeat or buy cards that shares the named trait.
- Faction Monsters: Now some mosters have a faction too.
