Description
Aseb is an ancient Egyptian game played on a board reminiscent of the Royal Game of Ur and Senet, to both of which it seems to be related. The exact rules are unknown.
The board consists of a middle row with 12 squares and at one end two rows of four squares, one each on either side. Hence the game is sometimes called the Game of Twenty Squares.
Note: It has often been misidentified as "The Game of Thieves" or "The Game of Robbers".
It may be a relative of Senet and The Royal Game of Ur.
