The Dragonborn that originated from the Astral Sea all the way out here in Wildspace, though physically similar aren't the Dragonborn you've seen on Toril or Exandria. There are several differences but the biggest ones are the Ancestry, the Clans and the Tails, oh those big beautiful tails, but we're getting ahead of ourselves!
Astral Dragonborn aren't born, they appear somewhere in the Astral Sea, they know this simply as "The Awakening". Be it in amongst stars, on a moon or sun, in the atmosphere of a planet or even within a blackhole.
It is unclear whether the celestial body that the Astral Dragonborn are Awakened in is what gives them their Ancestry or if they Awaken there because of their ancestry. But regardless of the answer these Dragonborn are a sight to behold.
Their Breath Weapons are also different suffused with the magic of the weave that flows through Wildspace. Each one manifesting itself differently.
