The Maw system is dominated by a lizard head millions of miles long that has entire worlds on the tips of its teeth, including:

Maw's sun is an apple made of impenetrable glass with continent-sized embryonic fire elementals swimming beneath the surface. Only the leaf and stem are cool enough for spelljammers to land on. Ogre whaling ships use this area as a waystation on their hunts.
The main wildspace-port in the system is Gullet, built on the skeleton of a colossal space whale. It floats in the back of the throat of the unfathomably-large lizard head of Maw. The thousands of residents in the port thrive on the vibrant spelljamming trade or mine marrow from the bones beneath their feet to survive. Commerce with other worlds provides all with a steady flow of opportunity...and danger.
