Astrophobia is a PvP, turn-based, combat board game with character creation. You start with a random weapon and a random trait and from there you must find the best strategy to defend yourself from your opponents. Inspired by Berserk and the Souls games, Astrophobia is set in a dark fantasy world mixed with the horrors of space. The combat is body-part-based and losing each one has different consequences.
The game includes a total of 177 cards, which feature 30 unique weapons, 25 unique traits, 2 sets of 36 unique sorceries, 2 sets of 12 unique board events, and 2 sets of 13 unique lucky cards, 8 different player tokens, 10 board event tokens and a 10x10 grid square board. Each card has written lore for the player to explore.
The objective of the game is to be the last person standing, and you do that by either killing or disarming the other players, or by running away and letting them get caught in a dagger rain. Astrophobia's random nature can lead to both epic and silly moments and you must improvise in every situation.
