From the introduction:
Synopsis: the PCs come across a town and find that it is soon attacked by a Gnoll force. Clues lead the PCs to the Monastery of Abbey Ridge where the larger force of Gnolls await.
This adventure is meant for a party of low level characters. A good mix of warrior types and magic users should be present in order to deal with the large number of adversaries present. If there are few PCs (about 3 or less), then mid-level should be alright if there is the ability for magic and strong fighting potential.
