AVARIAvs (pronounced: “AH–VAH–REE–AH Versus") features Ultrafast Turnbased Combat which was meticulously designed from the ground up to enable a balanced party vs party competitive JRPG experience. Inspired by the action menus and combat systems from classic JRPGs, the AVARIAvs Battlesystem is fine tuned for precision and speed allowing players to command their heroes as fast as they can think.
Set in the sci-fi fantasy world of AVARIA, players select a party of 3 heroes to battle against an opponent’s party. With 4 different classes, 16 unique heroes each equipped with 2 distinct archetypes, AVARIAvs boasts over 2,000 party combinations for players to discover and master. Competitive players can climb the global leaderboard via matchmaking or connect directly to opponents in private
matches. Offline, players can challenge a friend locally in split-screen mode or practice their strategies solo against computer controlled bots.
“We’ve worked long and hard to create a heart-pounding JRPG/strategy experience that we are now pretty proud of,” says Juncture Media founder Andrew Linde. “This is our first game and my goal was to create something that I had wished for since I was young, we’re excited to finally get it into player’s hands.”
