Description

Adventure Z is a narrative game for one or two players. In Volume 1: Lovecraft, players will take on the role of one or two investigators to solve a case cover in mystery and dark powers beyond the human understanding. Inspired in the H.P. Lovecraft literary work, this volume has two separate adventures ("Color Out of Space" and "The Shadow Over Innsmouth") with up to 40 different maps where the insight and cunning of the players will be essential to survive and discover up to five different endings per adventure.
You will only need the notebook, the deck of cards and a few dice, unfolding the game quickly to enter the adventure. After each scenario, the players will unlock new maps in which they will have to make decisions that will affect to the story, similar to what happens in "Choose your own adventure" books or a role-playing game.

Playing through the maps alone or as a pair will challenge players against dark enemies, ghoulish puzzles, clue investigation and puzzle solving.

Adventure Z's mechanics are easy to learn, each turn a player will have two actions that can be used to move their character, investigate an area on the map or activate a team card trying to free new maps before they run out of time.

A turn counter will limit the number of actions a player can do, sometimes having to choose between investigating everything or running to the next map. The adversaries have their own artificial intelligence, so you will not only have to control the survival of your characters.

Delve into the stories of Lovecraft and be the protagonist of your own story!
