Backyard Sports: Sandlot Sluggers is another in the Backyard Baseball series. It utilizes much of the other games' gameplay and style, including the use of famous MBL players in their cartoony child form.
Players can draft their own teams using a list of characters with pre-set abilities or make their own characters. Then, the team may be entered to play single games or a host of series games where scores are recorded for individual characters and not the team itself.

Sandlot Sluggers has eight different fields, including bizarre locations such as "Quantum Field" or on the rooftops of houses. It also features a "Family Mode" to encourage parents and children to spend time playing together.
